November marked a pause in global markets after a strong run earlier in the year. Returns were mixed, with pressure on large US growth and AI-linked stocks, while other areas proved more resilient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Against this backdrop, our Core portfolios, following their November rebalance<\/a>, generally outperformed their benchmarks<\/strong>. Broader diversification across styles, regions and asset classes helped reduce reliance on a narrow set of market drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In SGD terms, Core Equity100<\/strong> declined -0.2%<\/strong> for the month, but outperformed the MSCI ACWI benchmark\u2019s -0.34%. While global tech-heavy markets pulled back, the portfolio\u2019s broad diversification helped cushion the downside. Core Growth<\/strong> gained +0.05%<\/strong>, while Core Balanced<\/strong> posted a +0.34%<\/strong> gain, outperforming its benchmark (+0.15%). Due to its low equity allocation, Core Defensive <\/strong>actually delivered the strongest monthly return among the Core portfolios at +0.50%<\/strong>, outpacing its benchmark (+0.16%) in a month when defensive assets were in favour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
