Valmont Industries, Inc. engages in the manufacture of products and services for infrastructure and agriculture markets. It operates through the Infrastructure and Agriculture segments. The Infrastructure segment consists of the manufacture and distribution of products and solutions to serve the infrastructure markets of utility, lighting, transportation, telecommunications, and solar, along with coatings services to protect metal products. The Agriculture segment manufactures center pivot and linear irrigation equipment components for agricultural markets, including aftermarket parts and tubular products, and technology solutions for precision agriculture. The company was founded by Robert B. Daugherty in 1946 and is headquartered in Omaha, NE.
