How do I qualify for the Syfe x ShopBack cashback promotion?

To qualify for the Syfe x ShopBack cashback promotion, simply follow these steps:

  1. Sign up for a Syfe account and complete the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification process.
  2. Apply the promo code “SHOPBACKNEW” during the promotion period, once your KYC is successfully completed.
  3. Make a one-time fresh deposit of at least S$1,000 into any of the eligible portfolios listed below within 30 days of applying the promo code.
  4. Maintain your funds for at least 30 calendar days from the date of your initial deposit to qualify for the reward.

Who is eligible for the promotion?

This offer is exclusively for new-to-Syfe clients who have not previously registered for or used any Syfe investment product(s).

Is there a minimum deposit amount required?

Yes, you’ll need to make a one-time fresh deposit of at least S$1,000 into any of the eligible portfolios within 30 days of applying the promo code.

Which products can I deposit funds into?

This promotion cannot be combined with other ongoing Syfe promotions.

Funding & Holding Requirements

How long do the funds I deposit have to stay in my account?

Yes, your funds must remain in the same product you initially funded for a minimum of 30 calendar days to be eligible for the cashback reward. Withdrawals or transfers made before the 30-day period may result in disqualification from receiving the reward.

Do fresh deposits need to be made in one transaction?

Yes, the fresh deposit must be made in a single transaction. Cumulative or multiple deposits will not be considered when calculating the qualifying deposit amount.


Reward Distribution

When can I expect to receive my cashback?

Once all promotion requirements are met, a unique ShopBack cashback voucher will be sent to the email address registered with your Syfe account within 30 business days after the 30-day holding period is completed.

What should I do if I have an issue redeeming my cashback voucher?

If you encounter any issues redeeming your cashback voucher, please contact ShopBack team at [email protected] directly for assistance.

I have yet to receive any emails regarding my cashback voucher?

This may be because you’ve unsubscribed from Syfe’s email communications (Syfe Connect). If you’ve opted out, we’re unable to send you updates, including your cashback voucher.

What if I forgot to apply the promo code?

If you forgot to apply the promo code, you can still do so within 14 days from the date of your first deposit as a grace period. Simply enter the promo code in your Syfe account within this timeframe to ensure your deposits count toward the promotion.


Terms & Conditions

The Syfe x ShopBack Cashback Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Syfe Pte. Ltd. (“Syfe”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms outlined in your customer agreement, and to accept Syfe’s decisions regarding all matters related to the Promotion.

1. Promotion Period
The period to which individuals can register for the Promotion starts on 1 August 2025 and ends on 30 September at 11:59 PM SGT (the “Promotion Period”).

2. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Promotion, the person must:

  • be a new-to-Syfe client, defined as either:
    (a) an individual who has not yet registered for a Syfe account, or
    (b) an individual who has registered but has not yet funded their account.
  • be a legal resident of Singapore;
  • be the age of 18, or older, at the time of participation; and
  • meet the requirements set out below.

3. Funding Period
The Funding Period begins upon successful application of the promo code and ends thirty (30) calendar days after that at 11:59 PM SGT. Only a single, one-time deposit of at least the qualifying amount will be considered for the Promotion. Cumulative deposits will not be eligible (the “Funding Period”).

4. Qualifying Action
To qualify for the Promotion, eligible clients must:
(i) Register for a Syfe account and complete the know-your-customer (KYC) process.
(ii) Apply the promo code “SHOPBACKNEW” during the Promotion Period after KYC completion.
(iii) Complete a one-time fresh deposit of at least S$1,000 into any one of the eligible Portfolio/Product Types as stated below, during the Funding Period (“Qualifying Funding”).

5. Reward:
The reward (“Reward”) is determined based on the qualifying one-time fresh deposit amount made into the client’s Syfe account, as well as the 30-day holding period completed during the Funding Period. Upon meeting all conditions, the client will receive S$50 cashback via ShopBack.

Requests for changes to the Reward not specified above are subject to availability, and Syfe is under no obligation to accommodate such requests. Syfe reserves the right to substitute or modify the Reward if the stated amount or delivery method becomes unavailable, or for any other reason at its sole discretion.

The cashback will be delivered in the form of a unique voucher code, sent to the email address registered with the client’s Syfe account. This code must be redeemed on ShopBack and is subject to ShopBack’s own terms and conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, this promotion cannot be combined with other offers or promo codes.

6. Holding Period:
Unless otherwise specified, clients must maintain the minimum one-time fresh deposit in the same product initially funded for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of the initial deposit to remain eligible for the cashback Reward. Any withdrawals or transfers during this holding period may result in forfeiture of the Reward.

If Syfe, at its sole discretion, identifies fraudulent activity or any attempt to game the system—including, but not limited to, premature fund withdrawals—Syfe reserves the right to disqualify the client from the promotion and take appropriate action. This may include withholding the ShopBack cashback voucher and revoking eligibility for future promotions.

7. Reward Distribution:
After the 30-day holding period ends, eligible clients will receive their unique ShopBack voucher code via the email address registered with their Syfe account, within 30 business days. Syfe is not responsible for any unclaimed or undelivered rewards resulting from a client’s failure to create or access a ShopBack account. For enquiries regarding the redemption of ShopBack vouchers, please visit shopback.sg or contact the ShopBack team at [email protected].

In the event of high volume or unforeseen delays, delivery of the ShopBack voucher may take slightly longer than the stated 30 business days. Clients are advised to check their spam or junk folders if they have not received the email.

To ensure successful delivery, please ensure you remain subscribed to Syfe’s email communications (Syfe Connect). Syfe will not be able to resend the reward if the client has unsubscribed or opted out of receiving emails.

8. Grace Period for Promo Code Application:
Clients who have already funded their account but forgot to apply the promo code may still do so within 14 calendar days from their initial funding date. Any request to apply the promo code beyond the grace period must be submitted to the customer service team at [email protected] and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

9. Currency:
All currencies shown in these terms and conditions are in Singapore dollars.

10. Collection of Information:
By providing your information for this Promotion, clients understand and agree that Syfe will collect and use their personal information for the purposes of administering this Promotion, sending relevant marketing communications, and in accordance with Syfe’s Privacy Policy. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

To fulfil the Reward, Syfe may share relevant client information (such as your name and email address) with ShopBack or its authorised partners. By participating, you consent to this data sharing and acknowledge that the handling of your information by ShopBack will be governed by their own privacy policy.

11. Release:
By participating in the Promotion, client assumes all risk of injury, illness, disease, death, or any other damage which may arise in connection with their participation in the Promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, client hereby:(a) forever releases and discharges Syfe and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related and associated entities and employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators of each (collectively, the “Releasees”), from and against any and all claims, actions, costs, liabilities, judgments, damages, obligations, losses, penalties, and expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) in any way arising directly or indirectly out of any injury, loss, or damage that Client may suffer as a result of, or in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any promotion-related activity, including the use of the Reward; and (b) indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Releasees from and against any and all damages, loss and expenses, including legal fees, which may be suffered directly or indirectly by reason of the Client’s own negligence or willful misconduct during or in connection with the participation in the Promotion.

12. Reservation of Rights:
Syfe reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or restrict the promotion at any time without notice. Syfe is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under the promotion. If Syfe suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system, inappropriate, offensive, or derogatory language or information, or a violation of these terms, Syfe reserves the right to remove all promotions and take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, removing the Reward retail value from the client(s) account) or closing the client(s) account.

13. General:
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity, and other materials relating to or in connection with this promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
