1. Eligibility & Qualification

How do I qualify for the 2025 Apple Promotion?

New-to-Syfe clients who have not yet registered or funded their account can qualify by completing the following steps by 13 April 2025, 11:59 PM SGT:

  1. Register for the promotion via [this link] or apply the promo code “SYFEAPPLE” to your account.
  2. Deposit at least S$100,000 in qualifying funds within 30 days of applying the promo code into any of the following eligible portfolios:
    • Managed Portfolios (excluding SRS)
    • Brokerage
    • Cash+ Guaranteed SGD 12 Months Term
Is there a minimum amount I must deposit to qualify for the reward?

Yes, you must make a net deposit of at least S$100,000 within 30 days of applying the promo code. This means your total deposits, minus any withdrawals made during this period, must be at least S$100,000.

Do multiple deposits count towards my net funding total?

Yes, all deposits made during your 30-day funding period will count towards your net funding total.

Net funding is calculated as: Total deposits made – Total withdrawals during the funding period.

As long as your cumulative net funding meets the minimum S$100,000 requirement, you will qualify for the promotion reward.

Which products can I deposit funds into?

You can deposit funds into the following eligible products:

1. Managed Portfolios (excluding SRS), including: Core, Income+, REIT+, Protected, Theme, Custom
2. Brokerage
3. Cash+ Guaranteed SGD 12 Months Term (please note that Cash+ Guaranteed SGD 1, 3, 6 Months Term and Cash+ Guaranteed SGD is not an eligible product)

How do I confirm that I’ve successfully registered?

Once you have successfully applied the promo code and accepted the T&Cs, you will receive a confirmation email at your Syfe-registered email address.

Can I combine this promotion with other promotions?

No, this promotion cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions.

If you’ve already registered for another promotion but would prefer to participate in this one instead, you can reach out to our customer support team to submit a request and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.

2. Funding & Holding Requirements

How are eligible deposits calculated for this promotion?

Your eligible deposit amount is calculated as the total deposits made within 30 days of promo code application, minus any withdrawals during the same period.

Example:

If you register for the offer on 10 Feb 2025, we will consider deposits and withdrawals made between 10 Feb and 12 March 2025.

Deposits during the period:

  • 10 Feb 2025: S$30,000 deposited into your Managed Portfolios
  • 16 Feb 2025: S$40,000 deposited into your Brokerage account
  • 20 Feb 2025: S$60,000 deposited into your Cash+ Guaranteed 12 Months Term

Withdrawals during the period:

  • 15 Feb 2025: S$30,000 withdrawn from Brokerage account
  • 25 Feb 2025: S$10,000 withdrawn from Managed Portfolios

Total Eligible Deposits:

✅ Total deposits (within the funding period) = S$30,000 + S$40,000 + S$60,000 = S$130,000
❌ Total withdrawals = S$30,000 + S$10,000 = S$40,000
📌 Net deposits = S$130,000 – S$40,000 = S$90,000 (not meeting the S$100,000 requirement)

Is there a minimum holding period to qualify for the reward?

Yes, you must maintain the minimum cumulative net funding amount required for your reward for 365 days after the end of your 30-day funding period. If your balance falls below this amount due to withdrawals, we may recover the cash value of your Apple device.

Impact of Market Fluctuations & Withdrawals:

  • Capital gains, losses, and dividends will not affect your minimum balance requirement.
    • This means you do not need to top up if your balance falls due to market fluctuations.
    • You are also allowed to withdraw gains or dividends without penalty.
  • However, withdrawals of principal that bring your balance below the required minimum must be replaced within 14 days.
  • If your balance is not restored within this period, we will invoice you for the value of the Apple device.

Example:
If the minimum net funding amount to qualify for your reward is S$100,000, you must maintain at least S$100,000 in net deposits throughout the 365-day holding period.

  • If your balance drops below S$100,000 due to market fluctuations, no action is required.
  • If you withdraw S$10,000 of your principal, bringing your balance to S$90,000, you must top up S$10,000 within 14 days to avoid being invoiced for the device.
What happens if I withdraw funds after qualifying?

You must maintain the minimum cumulative net funding amount required for your reward for 365 days after the end of your 30-day funding period. If your balance falls below this amount due to withdrawals, you will have 14 days to restore the required amount.

If you do not restore your balance within this period, we may recover the cash value of the Apple device by invoicing you for the amount.

3. Reward Selection & Fulfillment

Which Apple device can I select as part of this promotion?

Your eligibility for an Apple product depends on the total amount you deposit. The specific product you qualify for is determined by your cumulative net deposits (total deposits minus withdrawals) during the funding period.

Rewards are subject to availability from Apple. In the unlikely event that your selected reward is unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar reward of equal value.

Can I modify the storage/hardware of the device or exchange it for another product?

No, you cannot modify the storage or hardware of the device, nor can you exchange it for a different product once you’ve made your selection. The only customization allowed is choosing the color of your device.

When will I receive my reward?

After the funding period ends, our team will reach out to you via email with instructions on the next steps to claim your reward. While we strive to fulfill rewards as soon as possible, the exact timeline may vary but rest assured that we will keep you updated throughout the process.

Can I change the mailing address once the Apple device is shipped?

No, unfortunately, we are unable to modify or change the mailing address once your order has been shipped. Please ensure your shipping details are accurate at the time of submission.

What if I forgot to apply the promo code?

If you forgot to apply the promo code, you can still do so within 14 days from the date of your first deposit as a grace period. Simply enter the promo code in your Syfe account within this timeframe to ensure your deposits count toward the promotion.


Terms & Conditions

The Syfe 2025 Apple New User Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Syfe Pte. Ltd. (“Syfe”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms outlined in your customer agreement, and to accept Syfe’s decisions regarding all matters related to the Promotion.

Promotion Period:
The period to which individuals can register for the Promotion starts on 18 February 2025 at 12:00 PM SGT and ends on 13 April 2025 at 11:59 PM SGT (the “Promotion Period”).

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Promotion, the person must:

  • be a new-to-Syfe client, defined as either:
    (a) an individual who has not yet registered for a Syfe account, or
    (b) an individual who has registered but has not yet funded their account.
  • be a legal resident of Singapore;
  • be the age of 18, or older, at the time of participation; and
  • meet the requirements set out below.

Funding Period:
The funding period begins at the time of the client’s successful application of the promo code during the Promotion Period and ends thirty (30) days after at 11:59 PM SGT (the “Funding Period”).

Qualifying Action:
To participate in the Promotion, eligible clients must:
(i) register for a Syfe account and complete the know-your-customer (KYC) process, then
(ii) register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period via applying the unique promo code “SYFEAPPLE”, then
(iii) initiate deposit(s) totaling S$100,000 or more into either Managed Portfolio (excluding SRS), Brokerage, and/or Cash+ Guaranteed SGD 12 Months Term during the Funding Period (“Qualifying Funding”).

For the avoidance of doubt, deposits into Cash+ Guaranteed 3 Months Term, whether reinvested multiple times or not, will not be considered as part of the Qualified Funding amount.

Funds must be received by Syfe by the end of the Funding Period to be considered as a Qualifying Funding.

Please note that the ability to benefit from the promotion is contingent upon successful account opening and know-your-customer (KYC) process completion with Syfe. Clients must apply the promo code only after the know-your-customer (KYC) process has been completed. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, unless specified herein.

Grace Period:
Clients who have already funded their account but forgot to apply the promo code can request to have it applied by submitting a request to our customer service team at [email protected] within 14 calendar days from their initial funding date.

Reward:
The reward (“Reward”) is based on the total amount of cumulative deposits made into the client’s Syfe account, minus the withdrawals made from the client’s Syfe account during the Funding Period (“Net Funding Amount”) in accordance to the table below:

Requests relating to other specifications of the Reward not referred to above are subject to availability, and Syfe is under no obligation to fulfill such requests. Syfe reserves the right to substitute the Reward if the client’s selected Reward is not available. Syfe is not responsible for any costs associated with using the Reward. Syfe reserves the right, for any reason and in its sole discretion, to substitute and/or modify the Reward with another prize that is of equal or greater value. There is a limit of one (1) Reward per client. The Reward is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and has no cash surrender value. Unless specified in the terms of other promotions, this Promotion cannot be combined with other offers or promotion codes.

If the client has already registered for a non-combinable promotion and later wishes to register for this promotion, they must submit a change request ticket to Syfe’s customer service at [email protected]. Each request will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.

Holding Period:
Unless specified herein, for 365 days after the end of the Funding Period, clients who receive a Reward may not withdraw the minimum cumulative Net Funding Amount required to obtain the Client’s applicable Reward from their Syfe account (“Withdrawal Limit”).

If a client goes over the Withdrawal Limit, the retail value of the Reward may be deducted from their final withdrawal amount or otherwise recovered by Syfe. By participating in this Promotion, clients agree to pay to Syfe upon demand such retail value. Withdrawals on any profits, dividends, interests, or benefits otherwise derived from the Net Funding Amount, will not be counted towards the Withdrawal Limit.

If Syfe, as determined at its sole discretion, suspects fraudulent behaviour or gaming the system including, but not limited to, making withdrawals during the Holding Period and subsequently depositing part or all of those withdrawals for the purpose of benefiting from this Promotion, Syfe reserves the right to include such withdrawals in the calculation of the Withdrawal Limit, disqualify the client from participating this Promotion and to take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, removing the Reward retail value from the client’s Syfe account, or closing their Syfe account and issuing them an invoice for the Reward retail value.

Reward Distribution:
After the Funding Period ends, eligible clients will receive an email with instructions to select the Reward (where applicable) and provide mailing address (“Preference Selection”). The mailing address must be a Singapore mailing address. Once the client confirms the Preference Selection, the selection may not be changed. Subject to availability, the Reward will begin to be distributed following the Preference Selection. The Reward will be sent to the client via postal mail. The client Syfe account must be in good standing at the time the Reward is sent. No responsibility is assumed by Syfe once the Reward has been shipped. No responsibility is assumed for any delivery returned as undeliverable. The client(s) bears all risks to the Reward upon delivery. If a Client fails to complete the Preference Selection within thirty (30) days after receiving Syfe’s email or fails to provide information requested by Syfe, the Reward will be considered forfeited and no Reward (or the equivalent cash value) will be sent to the Client.

Currency:
All currencies shown in these terms and conditions are in Singapore dollars.

Collection of Information:
By providing your information for this Promotion, clients understand and agree that Syfe will collect and use their personal information for the purpose of this Promotion, other marketing communications, as well as in accordance with Syfe’s Privacy Policy, available here. You may opt out of marketing communication at any time. Any questions regarding Syfe’s Privacy Policy or treatment of your personal information should be directed to [email protected].

Release:
By participating in the Promotion, client assumes all risk of injury, illness, disease, death, or any other damage which may arise in connection with their participation in the Promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, client hereby:(a) forever releases and discharges Syfe and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related and associated entities and employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators of each (collectively, the “Releasees”), from and against any and all claims, actions, costs, liabilities, judgments, damages, obligations, losses, penalties, and expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) in any way arising directly or indirectly out of any injury, loss, or damage that Client may suffer as a result of, or in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any promotion-related activity, including the use of the Reward; and (b) indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Releasees from and against any and all damages, loss and expenses, including legal fees, which may be suffered directly or indirectly by reason of the Client’s own negligence or willful misconduct during or in connection with the participation in the Promotion.
