Eligibility & Qualification

Who is eligible for this promotion?

An existing Syfe client who has not yet completed KYC or funded a Brokerage account.

How do I qualify for the SG60 promotion?

To qualify, you must:

  1. Complete KYC and fund your Syfe Brokerage account with at least S$1 in fresh funds during the Promotion Period.
  2. Maintain a minimum balance of S$1 in your Brokerage account until the reward is credited.
  3. Refer at least one friend to complete the following steps:
    – Sign up for a Syfe Brokerage account and complete the KYC verification process
    – Apply your unique referral code during the Promotion Period
    – Make a one-time deposit of S$2,000 or more in fresh funds into their Brokerage account by 31 August 2025, 11:59 PM SGT
    – Maintain a minimum balance of S$2,000 in their account for at least 30 calendar days from the date of deposit
When is the promotion period?

The promotion is valid from 21 July 2025, 16:00 SGT to 31 August 2025, 23:59 SGT.

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

No, you can refer as many friends as you like. You’ll earn a reward for each successful referral that meets all conditions.


Funding & Holding Requirements

Do fresh deposits need to be made in one transaction?

Yes, only a one-time deposit of S$2,000 or more will qualify. Multiple smaller deposits that add up to S$2,000 do not meet the requirement.

Is there a minimum deposit amount required for the Referee?

Yes, your Referee must make a minimum one-time deposit of S$2,000 in fresh funds into their Syfe Brokerage account.

What happens if my or my Referee’s balance drops below the required amount?

To remain eligible:

  • Your Referee must maintain a minimum balance of S$2,000 in their account for 30 consecutive calendar days from the date of deposit.
  • You (the Referrer) must maintain at least S$1 in your Syfe Brokerage until the reward is credited.

Note: Withdrawals that cause balances to fall below the required thresholds may result in disqualification for both parties. Market fluctuations do not affect eligibility.

Can my Referee transfer their funds to Managed Portfolios or Cash Management during the 30-day holding period?

As of 29 July 2025, we’ve updated our policy based on client feedback to allow internal transfers between Managed Portfolios and Cash Management for this promotion.

However, please note that your Referee should only transfer their funds 2–3 business days after their deposit has been reflected in their Syfe Brokerage account. Transferring funds too early may result in the promo code not being processed correctly, which could affect both you and your Referee’s eligibility for the reward.


Reward Selection & Fulfillment

What exactly will I receive as a reward?

Eligible users will receive one (1) share each of the following Singapore bank stocks:

  • DBS Group Holdings Ltd (DBS)
  • United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB)
  • Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd (OCBC)

The reward value is capped at S$120. If the total market value exceeds this cap, Syfe may issue fractional shares or adjust the allocation proportionately.

Will my friend receive any rewards?

Yes, if your friend (the Referee) completes all the qualifying steps, they will receive the same reward as you: one (1) share each of DBS, UOB, and OCBC, capped at S$120 in total value.

When can I expect to receive my reward?

Rewards will be credited within 60 days from the end of the promotion period (e.g. by 30 October 2025), provided both you and your Referee meet all requirements.

Note: Delays may occur due to operational, technical, or market-related reasons.

What should I do if I don’t see my rewards in my account after 60 days from the promotion end date?

If it’s past 30 October 2025 and your reward hasn’t been credited, please contact our support team at [email protected] for assistance.

What could disqualify me from receiving the reward?

You may be disqualified if:

  • Your Referee does not meet all eligibility and deposit criteria.
  • Your own Syfe Brokerage account has less than S$1 at the time of reward distribution.
  • Either of your account balance drops below the required minimum amount due to withdrawals during holding period.

Note: Market fluctuations don’t affect eligibility — only withdrawals do.


Others

What if my Referee forgets to apply my referral code?

They have a 14-day grace period from the date of their deposit to apply your referral code. If missed, they can contact [email protected] for help — approval is not guaranteed.

Where can I find my referral code?

You can find your referral code by going to Menu > Invite Friends > Brokerage in the Syfe app. Refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions.

Note: Make sure your friend enters your referral code on the “Redeem Code” page during signup — this step is required for both of you to be eligible for the reward.

My friend applied the referral code, but we received a cash bonus instead of the shares. Will we still receive the shares?

The cash bonus is a temporary placeholder our system uses to track your eligibility for the promotion. As long as both you and your Referee meet all the qualifying criteria, you’ll both receive one share each of DBS, UOB, and OCBC. The shares will be credited to both your accounts within 60 days after the promotion period ends.


Terms & Conditions

The Syfe SG60 Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Syfe Pte. Ltd. (“Syfe”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms outlined in the client agreement, and to accept Syfe’s decisions regarding all matters related to the Promotion.

1. Promotion Period:
The period to which individuals can register for the Promotion starts on 21 July 2025 at 16:00 PM SGT and ends on 31 August 2025 at 11:59 PM SGT (the “Promotion Period”).

2. Eligibility:

Referrer Eligibility

To qualify as a Referrer, you must:

  • Be an existing Syfe client without an active Syfe Brokerage account, defined as someone who has not completed KYC and/or not funded their Brokerage account before;
  • Be a legal resident of Singapore;
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of participation;
  • Complete the actions outlined in Section 3. Qualifying Actions for Referrers.

Referee Eligibility

To qualify as a Referee, the referred individual must:

  • Be new to Syfe, defined as an individual who has not yet registered for a Syfe account, or has registered but not yet funded any Syfe account;
  • Be a legal resident of Singapore;
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of participation;
  • Complete the actions outlined in Section 4: Qualifying Actions for Referees.

3. Qualifying Action for Referrers

To qualify for the Promotion, an eligible Referrer must:

  1. Complete the KYC verification process and fund their Syfe Brokerage account with a one-time deposit of S$1 or more in fresh funds during the Promotion Period;
  2. Maintain a minimum balance of S$1 in the Brokerage account until the Reward is credited.
  3. Refer at least one Referee who successfully:
  • Applies the Referrer’s unique referral code during the Promotion Period;
  • Completes all the Qualifying Actions for Referees (as described in Section 4 below).

Note: Referrers will only receive the Reward if their Referee also meets all conditions, including the Holding Period.

4. Qualifying Action for Referee:

To qualify for the Reward, a Referee must:

  1. Sign up for a Syfe Brokerage account and complete the KYC verification process;
  2. Apply the Referrer’s unique referral code during the Promotion Period;
  3. Make a one-time deposit of S$2,000 or more in fresh funds into their Syfe Brokerage account during the Promotion Period
  4. Maintain a minimum balance of S$2,000 in their account for at least 30 calendar days from the date of deposit (“Holding Period”)

Note: Only Referees who fulfill all the above steps will qualify for the Reward and only then will their Referrer also be eligible.

5. Funding Period
The Funding Period starts when the Referee successfully applies the referral code during the Promotion Period and ends on 31 August 2025 at 11:59 PM SGT. To be considered “Qualifying Funding”, the Referee’s funds must be received by Syfe within this Funding Period.

6. Grace Period for Promo Code Application
Referees who funded their account but forgot to apply the promo code may do so within 14 calendar days of their initial funding date. Participants who fail to apply the promo code within the 14-day grace period acknowledge that the Reward will not be guaranteed, and any request must be submitted to [email protected] and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Reward

Referrers and Referees who meet all eligibility and qualifying conditions will each receive one (1) share of the following Singapore-listed bank stocks:

  • DBS Group Holdings Ltd (“DBS”)
  • United Overseas Bank Ltd (“UOB”)
  • Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd (“OCBC”)

(collectively, the “Reward”).

Reward Value Cap:

The total value of the Reward is capped at S$120. If the combined market value of the three shares exceeds S$120, Syfe reserves the right to award fractional shares, or adjust the proportion of shares, such that the total value does not exceed the cap.

The Reward is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits. Syfe reserves the right, at its sole discretion and for any reason, to substitute or modify the Reward with another item of equal value without prior notice.

Referrals Limit:

There is no cap on the number of Referees a Referrer can invite. As long as each Referee fulfils all the conditions outlined in these Terms and Conditions, the Referrer will be eligible to receive the Reward for each successful referral.

8. Holding Period

To qualify for the Reward:

  • Referees must maintain a minimum balance of S$2,000 in their Syfe account for at least 30 calendar days from the date of their Qualifying Funding.
  • Referrers must also maintain a minimum balance of S$1 in their Syfe Brokerage account at the time the Reward is distributed.

If either the Referrer’s or Referee’s account balance falls below the required minimum during the Holding Period or at the time of reward distribution due to withdrawals, both parties may be disqualified from receiving the Reward. Market fluctuations do not impact eligibility — only withdrawals that reduce the balance below the threshold will.

As of 29 July 2025, Referees may transfer their funds to other Syfe portfolios (e.g., Managed Portfolios or Cash Management) during the Holding Period, only 2-3 business days after their deposit has been reflected in their Syfe Brokerage account. Transfers made before then may result in disqualification from the Promotion.

Syfe reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any client it reasonably suspects of fraudulent activity or attempts to game the Promotion, including but not limited to making temporary deposits or withdrawals to meet the minimum balance requirement. In such cases, Syfe may withhold or cancel the Reward and take any other action it deems appropriate.

9. Reward Distribution
Rewards will be credited to eligible Referrers and Referees’ Brokerage accounts within 60 calendar days from the end of the Promotion Period. 

Distribution may be delayed due to operational, technical, or market-related reasons. Syfe does not guarantee that the Reward will be credited within the 60-day period and shall not be liable for any such delays. 

The client’s Brokerage account must be active at the time of Reward distribution. Otherwise, the Reward will be forfeited.

10. Promotion Stackability

Unless expressly stated in the terms of other ongoing promotions, this Promotion cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, or promo codes.

Clients who have already registered for a non-combinable promotion and wish to participate in this Promotion must submit a change request ticket to Syfe’s customer service team at [email protected]

All such requests will be reviewed and approved at Syfe’s sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.

11. Currency
All amounts stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

12. Collection of Personal Information
By participating, clients consent to Syfe collecting and using their personal information for this Promotion and marketing purposes, in accordance with Syfe’s Privacy Policy. You may opt out of marketing communication at any time. Any questions regarding Syfe’s Privacy Policy or treatment of your personal information should be directed to [email protected].

13. Limitation of Liability & Release
By participating, clients assume all risk of loss or any other damages that may arise in connection with their participation in the Promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, client hereby:(a) forever releases and discharges Syfe and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related and associated entities and employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators of each (collectively, the “Releasees”), from and against any and all claims, actions, costs, liabilities, judgments, damages, obligations, losses, penalties, and expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) in any way arising directly or indirectly out of any injury, loss, or damage that Client may suffer as a result of, or in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any promotion-related activity, including the use of the Reward; and (b) indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Releasees from and against any and all damages, loss and expenses, including legal fees, which may be suffered directly or indirectly by reason of the Client’s own negligence or wilful misconduct during or in connection with the participation in the Promotion.

13. Reservation of Rights
Syfe reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or restrict the promotion at any time without notice, including in cases of suspected fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system, inappropriate, offensive, or derogatory language or information, or a violation of these terms.  Syfe is the sole arbiter of these rules and any related issues, and may take any action it deems appropriate, including removing promotions.

14. General & Disclaimers
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity, and other materials relating to or in connection with this promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
