Referral Program Mechanics


Step 1: Invite friends to Syfe by sharing your referral code
Share your unique referral code with a friend (see steps here) and make sure your friend applies the code before their first deposit.

Step 2: Your friend makes their first deposit(s)
To qualify for rewards in both product categories, your friend must meet the minimum deposit requirement for each product vertical.

Example: $2,000 in Managed Portfolio / Cash Management and $2,000 in Brokerage.

Step 3: Rewards for you (the referrer)
You will receive only one reward, based on the first product vertical your friend funds. To be eligible, you must have at least S$1 invested in the same product vertical.

Example: If your friend invests in Income+ (Managed Portfolio) but you only have a Brokerage account, you will not get the reward.

Step 4: Rewards for your friend (the referee)
Your friend can earn rewards for both product categories, provided they meet the minimum deposit requirement for each.


Promotion Period

This promotion runs from 25 November 2025, 10.40 SGT until further notice by Syfe.


Eligibility

For Referrers:

  • Must be an existing Syfe user with an active portfolio (min. S$1 invested) in the relevant product category at the time of the referee’s signup and reward disbursement.
  • Will only receive a reward if the referee successfully completes all referral criteria.

For Referees:

  • Must be new to Syfe defined as a user that has not registered or funded on Syfe before.
  • Must apply the referral code before funding and meet the minimum funding requirement within the promotion period.
  • Must maintain the required balance for the full holding period:
    • 30 days for Brokerage
    • Entire fee waiver period for Managed Portfolios / Cash Management
  • Must complete all steps required under the referral program for rewards to be triggered for both parties.

Note:

Referrers will only receive their reward after the referee completes all referral criteria, including applying the code, meeting the funding threshold, and maintaining the required balance.
– Rewards for both the Referrer and Referee are contingent upon both parties meeting all the eligibility criteria and requirements. Failure of either party to meet the stated requirements will result in no rewards being issued.


How to Refer Friends

  1. Log in to your Syfe app and find your unique referral code under “Invite Friends” in the menu section.
  2. Send your code to your friends and ensure they apply the code when they sign up.
  3. Once your friend signs up, completes KYC verification, applies your referral code and funds their account with the qualifying amount, both of you will receive your respective rewards, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

Applying Referral Codes

  1. Download the Syfe app: [ios link] | [android link] (if you have not)
  2. Register for an account and complete the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) steps.
  3. On the Homepage, tap the menu icon in the bottom-right corner.
  4. Select “Redeem Promo” and enter your friend’s unique referral code.
  5. Tap “Apply” to confirm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can I refer?

Anyone who is new to Syfe and signs up using your referral code.

Can I refer more than one friend?

Yes, you can refer as many friends as you like! However, total rewards may be subject to caps. Refer to the full T&Cs for limits.

What is considered an “active portfolio”?

A portfolio with at least S$1 invested and no pending closure or withdrawal.

When do the fee waivers start?

2–3 business days after the qualifying funding requirements are met.

 How will I receive my cash bonus?

Your cash bonus will be automatically credited and invested into your first active portfolio within the same product category (Managed Portfolio or Cash Management).

If you only hold SRS or Cash+ Guaranteed, a new Cash+ Flexi portfolio will be automatically created for you for the purpose of crediting and investing your cash bonus.

My friend forgot to enter my referral code. Can they still apply it?

 Yes, your friend can still apply the code as long as it is within 14 days from the initial deposit date.

I used my friend’s referral code but did not receive the reward.

This could be because:

1) You entered a referral code when creating your Syfe account but did not make any fund transfers within during the promotion period.

2) You used a referral code outside of the grace period provided. If you did not enter a referral code at the account creation stage, you have 14 days to apply the referral code from the day you make your first investment. E.g. you made your first investment on 1 December and did not use any referral code. You can enter a referral code anytime from 1 December to 14 December to be eligible for the fee waiver.

3) The friend who referred you had less than $1 invested in the same product category as what you signed up for. Please contact [email protected] with your referrer’s name and email address to check. Kindly note that Syfe is not responsible for any failures on the part of your referrer to meet the requirements of the Syfe Referral Program.

I referred a friend but don’t see any reward credited to my portfolio.

This could be because:

1) Your referred friend has yet to meet the minimum investment. Both you and your friend will receive the referral rewards only after the first fund’s transfer is invested.

2) Your portfolio does not meet the minimum balance requirement. For example, if you currently have $0 invested in Syfe Brokerage, you’ll need to meet the minimum balance of S$1 to be eligible.

3) Your referred friend did not use your referral code. Please note that if your friend has applied a different referral or promo code to create their account, we will not be able to change the code used to your referral code.


Terms & Conditions

The Syfe Referral Program (“Promotion”) is organised by Syfe Pte. Ltd. (“Syfe”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms outlined in the client agreement, and to accept Syfe’s decisions regarding all matters related to the Promotion.

1. Promotion Period:
The period to which individuals can register for the Promotion starts on 25 November 2025, 10:40 SGT (the “Promotion Period”) and ends when the available rewards as determined by Syfe are fully distributed.

2. Eligibility:

Referrer Eligibility

To qualify as a Referrer, you must:

  • Be an existing Syfe client with an active portfolio (minimum S$1 invested) in the relevant product category (Managed Portfolio, Cash Management, or Brokerage);
  • Be a legal resident of Singapore;
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of participation;
  • Complete all actions outlined in Section 3.

Referee Eligibility

To qualify as a Referee, the referred individual must:

  • Be new to Syfe, defined as an individual who has not yet registered for a Syfe account, or has registered but not yet funded any Syfe account;
  • Be a legal resident of Singapore;
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of participation;
  • Complete all actions outlined in Section 4.

3. Qualifying Action for Referrers

To qualify for the Promotion, an eligible Referrer must:

  1. Maintain an active Syfe portfolio (min. S$1 invested) in the same product category that the Referee first funds;
  2. Share their unique referral code with the Referee;
  3. Be active in the relevant portfolio at the time of reward distribution;
  4. Have at least one Referee complete all qualifying criteria listed in Section 4.

Note: Referrers will only receive the Reward if their Referee also meets all conditions, including the funding requirements and holding period. Syfe is not obligated to provide to Referrers any information on the account activities of Referees.

4. Qualifying Action for Referee:

To qualify for the Reward, a Referee must:

  • Sign up for a Syfe account and complete the KYC verification process;
  • Apply the Referrer’s unique referral code during the Promotion Period;
  • Open either, or both, of the following account types and meet the funding requirements:

  • Maintain qualifying funds for the entire holding period:
    • Managed Portfolio / Cash Management: Entire fee waiver duration
    • Brokerage: 60 days from the date the funds were received

Note: Only Referees who fulfill all the above steps will qualify for the Reward and only then will their Referrer also be eligible.

5. Funding Period
The Funding Period starts when the Referee successfully applies the referral code and ends 30 days after. To be considered “Qualifying Funding”, the Referee’s funds must be received by Syfe within this Funding Period.

6. Grace Period for Promo Code Application
Referees who funded their account but forgot to apply the referral  code may do so within 14 calendar days of their initial funding date. Participants who fail to apply the promo code within the 14-day grace period acknowledge that the Reward will not be guaranteed, and any request must be submitted to [email protected] and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Rewards

Referrers and Referees who meet all eligibility and qualifying conditions will receive the following rewards based on the account type funded:

Note:

  • Referees may qualify for rewards from both categories, provided minimum funding requirements for each are met within the promotion period.
  • Referrers’ rewards will only be based on the first product category funded by their Referrees.
  • Rewards for both the Referrer and Referee are contingent upon both parties meeting all the eligibility criteria and requirements outlined in this promotion’s terms and conditions. Failure of either party to meet the stated requirements will result in no rewards being issued. 
  • Syfe is not obligated in any way to provide information on the account activities of Referees to Referrers, or vice versa.
Example:If Person A (referee) makes the following first one-time deposits:S$5,000 into a Managed Portfolio, andS$5,000 into a Brokerage accountPerson A will receive both rewards, provided the funding requirements for each account type are met:Managed Portfolio: 8 months of fee waiver (capped at S$50,000 investment amount)Brokerage: S$20 cash bonus

Person B (referrer) will receive the reward from only the first account type funded by Person A. If Person A funds the Managed Portfolio first, Person B will receive:S$20 cash bonus (Managed Portfolio referrer reward)Person B will not receive the Brokerage referrer reward.

Reward Value Cap:

  • Fee waivers apply only to the specified cap of invested funds in Managed Portfolios and/or Cash Management. Any amount invested beyond this cap will be subject to standard management fees.

The Reward is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits. Syfe reserves the right, at its sole discretion and for any reason, to substitute or modify the Reward with another item of equal value without prior notice.

Referrals Limit:

There is no cap on the number of Referees a Referrer can invite. As long as each Referee fulfils all the conditions outlined in these Terms and Conditions, the Referrer will be eligible to receive the Reward for each successful referral.

8. Holding Period

To qualify for the Reward:

  • Brokerage: Referees must maintain their invested funds for at least 60 days from the date the funds are received by Syfe. Any transfers or withdrawals made before this period may result in disqualification from the Promotion.
  • Managed Portfolios / Cash Management: Funds must remain invested for the entire duration of the fee waiver. Withdrawals or transfers that reduce the value below the initial funded amount will result in suspension of the fee waiver. Any fees waived before then may be clawed back.

Both Referrers and Referees must maintain active accounts in the relevant vertical (i.e. either (a) Brokerage or (b) Managed Portfolios / Cash Management) at the time of reward disbursement.

Syfe reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any client it reasonably suspects of fraudulent activity or attempts to game the Promotion, including but not limited to making temporary deposits or withdrawals to meet the minimum balance requirement. In such cases, Syfe may withhold or cancel the Reward and take any other action it deems appropriate.

9. Reward Distribution

Eligible Referrers and Referees will receive their rewards as follows:

Cash Bonus

  • The cash bonus will be automatically credited and invested into the Referrer’s first active portfolio within the same product category (i.e., Managed Portfolio or Cash Management) or Brokerage wallet.
  • If the Referrer does not have an active portfolio within that category:
    • The bonus will be credited into another active Syfe portfolio, if available.
    • If no eligible portfolios exist (e.g. only SRS or Cash+ Guaranteed portfolios are held), a new Cash+ Flexi portfolio will be automatically created for crediting and investing the bonus.
  • The cash bonus will be credited to the Referrer within 30 business days of the Referee fulfilling all eligibility requirements.

Cash Credits

  • Cash credit rewards are non-withdrawable and can only be used towards buying US securities within the platform.
  • Cash credits are not transferable to Syfe Managed Portfolios, nor can ‘fees waived’ from Managed Portfolios be transferred into Brokerage.
  • The system will process the cash credits within 7 working days post-requirement completion. Please note that cash credits are credited in USD and will be subject to FX fluctuations.

Fee Waivers

  • Fee waivers for Referees will be activated within 2–3 business days from the date that the Referee fulfills all eligibility requirements.
  • Any funds invested before the waiver activation date will incur standard management fees.
  • To retain the fee waiver, the Referee must maintain their initial investment amount for the entire waiver period.
  • Any withdrawal or internal transfer that reduces the portfolio below the initial funded amount will result in immediate suspension and clawback of the waived fees.

10. Promotion Stackability

Unless expressly stated in the terms of other ongoing promotions, this Promotion cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, or promo codes.

Clients who have already registered for a non-combinable promotion and wish to participate in this Promotion must submit a change request ticket to Syfe’s customer service team at [email protected]

All such requests will be reviewed and approved at Syfe’s sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.

11. Currency
All amounts stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and United States Dollar (USD).

12. Collection of Personal Information
By participating, clients consent to Syfe collecting and using their personal information for this Promotion and marketing purposes, in accordance with Syfe’s Privacy Policy. You may opt out of marketing communication at any time. Any questions regarding Syfe’s Privacy Policy or treatment of your personal information should be directed to [email protected].

13. Limitation of Liability & Release
By participating, clients assume all risk of loss or any other damages that may arise in connection with their participation in the Promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, client hereby:(a) forever releases and discharges Syfe and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related and associated entities and employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators of each (collectively, the “Releasees”), from and against any and all claims, actions, costs, liabilities, judgments, damages, obligations, losses, penalties, and expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) in any way arising directly or indirectly out of any injury, loss, or damage that Client may suffer as a result of, or in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any promotion-related activity, including the use of the Reward; and (b) indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Releasees from and against any and all damages, loss and expenses, including legal fees, which may be suffered directly or indirectly by reason of the Client’s own negligence or wilful misconduct during or in connection with the participation in the Promotion.

14. Reservation of Rights
Syfe reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or restrict the promotion at any time without notice, including in cases of suspected fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system, inappropriate, offensive, or derogatory language or information, or a violation of these terms.  Syfe is the sole arbiter of these rules and any related issues, and may take any action it deems appropriate, including removing promotions.

15. General & Disclaimers
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity, and other materials relating to or in connection with this promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
