Campaign Period
This campaign shall run from 16th October 2024, 1300 SGT to 31st December 2024, 2359 SGT.
How It Works
1. Login to your Syfe account and copy your unique referral code from your account settings.
2. Share the referral code with your friends and get them to complete the following step below by 31st December 2024, 2359 SGT:
- Create an account on Syfe
- Complete the sign-up steps for your product category*
- Tap the menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home Screen
- Select “Redeem Promo” and enter your unique referral code
- Tap “Apply” to confirm
3. Once your friend fulfills the requirement, you and your friend’s reward will be credited to your account within 7 business days.
Eligibility

- To qualify for and receive the reward, the referrer must meet the following conditions during the Campaign Period:
- Must be an existing Syfe client
- Must have an Active Portfolio* in the Eligible Product Category*
- The referee must complete all referral criteria on his/her end
- Referee (Your Friend)
- To qualify for and receive the reward, the referee must meet the following conditions during the Campaign Period:
- Must be a new-to-Syfe client
- Must sign up to be a Syfe registered user
- Must use a valid referrer promo code after signing up
- Must meet the stipulated minimum first lump-sum deposit in the table above
Definitions:
*Active Portfolio = An existing Syfe portfolio with a minimum total Net Asset Value of S$500.
*Product Category = An overarching category in which an investment solution resides in. Managed Portfolio (REITs, Core, Income+, Protected), Cash Management (Flexi, Guaranteed) or Brokerage.
*Eligible Product Category = The same product category that your referee has registered and made the minimum first deposit towards. For example, if your friend funds a Syfe Brokerage account and meets all the criteria, you will need to have an active Syfe Brokerage account to receive the referral bonus.
Syfe Referral Program Terms & Conditions
- To participate in Syfe’s Referral Program, all parties must agree to the terms stated above and herein, which become part of Syfe’s Terms & Conditions.
- Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes unless approved by Syfe. Referral codes should not be published or distributed on commercial websites (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia) or blogs unless authorised by Syfe. Clients are prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. This includes mass emailing, texting, or messaging people you do not know, or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute your referral code. Clients are prohibited from paying to advertise their referral codes.
- Syfe reserves the right to any remedy, including cancellation of your account or reservations, if fraud, tampering, violations of these terms or Syfe’s Terms & Conditions, or if technical errors are suspected.
- Syfe reserves the right to suspend accounts or remove the Incentives if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of Syfe’s Terms & Conditions. Syfe also has the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our absolute sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
- This promotion cannot be combined with any other promotional codes unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. We encourage you to share about Syfe with as many friends and family members as you wish, allowing you to maximise your rewards.
- Managed Portfolios & Cash Management – Fee Waivers
Fee waivers will only kick in after 2-3 business days from the promo code application date. Any funds invested before then will incur management fees.
All funds invested anytime during the fee waiver period will not incur any management fees, up to the specified investment cap amount of S$50,000. Subsequent sums invested will be subject to Syfe’s management fees.
To qualify for the fee waiver under this promotion, all newly deposited funds must remain invested for the entire waiver period. Any withdrawal or internal transfer of funds during this period, which results in the portfolio value falling below the initial deposit amount, will lead to an immediate suspension of the fee waiver. Additionally, any previously granted fee waivers will be revoked and clawed back. - Brokerage – Cash Credits
Cash credits rewards are non-withdrawable and can only be used towards buying securities within the platform. Cash credits are not transferable to Syfe Managed Portfolios, nor can ‘fees waived’ from Managed Portfolios can be transferred into Brokerage. The system would process the cash credits within 7 working days post requirement completion. - Brokerage – Free Trades
Free trades are only available on US buy/sell trades and will expire 3 months from the date of account creation. Commission fee will be charged on the buy or sell order summary page, however, the equivalent amount will be rebated and reflected in cash funds within the same day. - In the event of the Referred Client having missed the promo code field at signup, they have up to 14 days ‘grace period’ to enter the referral code directly through the “Account Settings” tab of their Syfe dashboard. Requests to tag any referral codes to a Syfe account 14 days after account creation will not be accepted.
- Referrers will only receive the referral reward for the first portfolio/account your referee opens and meets the minimum criteria for. For example, if your referee opens and funds a REITs portfolio first before opening a Brokerage account and funding the minimum amount for it too, you will only be eligible for the REITs referral reward.
Rewards will be credited based on the first portfolio or account opened by the referee that meets the minimum requirements as follows:
Managed Portfolio / Cash Management – Reward will be credited to the first active portfolio.
Brokerage: Reward will be credited to the Brokerage Wallet. - Referees are eligible to receive referral rewards for all the accounts/portfolios they create within the qualifying period of 30 days from promo code usage. As long as they fulfill all the criteria within the qualifying period, they will receive the corresponding rewards. They are not limited to only enjoying rewards from the first portfolio or account opened.
Additional Terms & Conditions
- All promotions and offers by Syfe are subjected to a set of terms and conditions.
- Syfe reserves the right to amend terms and conditions including changing the reward benefits of the promotion or offer, terminating the offer before the stated validity date, changing the details of the promotion or offer, or any other changes to protect the interests of the company or under circumstances of abuse.
- All promo codes issued by Syfe are not valid for use together with other promotions or offers, unless stated otherwise.
- Eligible customers consent to Syfe’s collection and use of customer’s personal data and any disclosures of customer’s personal data by/to third parties for the purpose of this promotion. FAQ
General
Am I eligible for the referral reward if I already signed up with other products on Syfe?
You are eligible to receive rewards by referring new-to-Syfe friends. You are no longer eligible to receive rewards for being referred if you are an existing Syfe customer.
Where do I find my referral code?
From your Syfe app’s homepage, click on the menu icon on the top right to open up the menu. Click on “Invite friends” and copy your invitation link.
Managed Portfolios
I referred a friend but don’t see any cash bonus credited to my portfolio.
This could be because:
1) Your referred friend has yet to meet the minimum investment. Both you and your friend will receive the referral rewards only after the first fund’s transfer is invested.
2) Your total portfolio value / invested amount across all Syfe portfolios does not meet the minimum value. For example, you may have invested only S$100 in Cash+ and S$100 in REIT+. Since the total value across all Syfe portfolios is S$200, you’re not yet eligible unless you meet the S$500 minimum balance criteria.
3) Your referred friend did not use your referral code. Please note that if your friend has applied a different referral or promo code to create their account, we will not be able to change the code used to your referral code.
I used my friend’s referral code but did not receive the fee waiver.
This could be because:
1) You entered a referral code when creating your Syfe account but did not make any fund transfers within 30 days of account creation. E.g you used a referral code on 1 June to create your Syfe account but only made your first investment on 1 July.
2) You used a referral code outside of the grace period provided. If you did not enter a referral code at the account creation stage, you have 14 days to apply the referral code from the day you make your first investment. E.g. you made your first investment on 1 December and did not use any referral code. You can enter a referral code anytime from 1 December to 14 December to be eligible for the fee waiver.
3) The friend who referred you had less than $500 invested across Syfe portfolios. Please contact support@syfe.com with your referrer’s name and email address to check. Kindly note that Syfe is not responsible for any failures on the part of your referrer to meet the requirements of the Syfe Referral Program.
Brokerage
What are cash credits?
Cash credits will be reflected as an increase in your buying power on your Brokerage account. You may use them as an investment credit to buy any securities of your choice.
Can cash credits be withdrawn?
Cash credits awarded as part of the Brokerage welcome promotion and referral program cannot be directly withdrawn to your bank account. They can only be used to buy a stock or ETF of your choice.
